Blanche Pound, 97, of
Salem died Wednesday from complications of pneumonia. (Marion County)
Born in Prairie City,
she was a clerk for the State of Oregon and a homemaker. She enjoyed
gardening, crocheting, fishing and camping. She married Walter; he died in
1990.
Survivors include her
daughters, Norma Large of Salem, and Shirley Godwin and Peggy Chastain, both
of Keizer, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 12
great-great-grand children.
Visiting will be 9 a.m.
to noon Monday at City View Funeral Home. Services will follow at 1 p.m. at
the mortuary. Private interment will be a Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
